SPS Vaccination Clinic May 18th

The Allegan County Health Department (ACHD) will start vaccinating children ages 12-15 years old with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, May 14. The vaccine was authorized and recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) earlier this week. Saugatuck Public Schools has partnered with the Allegan County Health Department to host a COVID 19 Vaccine Clinic at Saugatuck High School for individuals aged 12 and older on Tuesday, May 18th from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Appointments are not needed, however, If parents would like to secure an appointment for their child in advance, they can do so here: https://ph-allegan.as.me/saugatuckhscovidimms20210305 . It is recommended parents/guardians be present when their minor child receives the vaccine. However, if that is not possible, parents/guardians can call 269-686-4583 or email [email protected] ahead of time to give consent for their child to be vaccinated. Vaccination clinics for children 12 and older are also being held at: • Friday, May 14 at Allegan High School from 9am to 4pm. Walk in’s available from 10am to 2pm. • Saturday, May 15 at Hamilton High School 9am to 4pm. Walk in’s available from 10am to 2pm.
